Cleveland, Ohio (August 31, 2023) – Telos Alliance®, a global leader in broadcast audio for more than three decades and an Amazon Web Services (AWS) Partner Network (APN) member, has successfully completed the AWS Foundational Technical Review (AWS FTR) for Telos Infinity® VIP, the first fully featured cloud-based broadcast intercom system, designed to seamlessly integrate with modern devices such as smartphones, laptops, desktops, and tablets.

Using any standard HTML5 web browser or the free, dedicated VIP app for iOS and Android smartphones, Infinity VIP users can effortlessly take advantage of the remarkable features that the Telos Infinity family of IP Intercom systems is known for: infinite scalability, a matrix-free, all-IP architecture, remarkable cost savings versus traditional intercom systems, and an intuitive, easy-to-use interface.

The AWS FTR allows AWS Partners to identify and remediate risks in their software or solutions. Whether your software is delivered as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution or deployed by customers, the AWS FTR helps AWS Partners identify AWS Well-Architected best practices specific to their software. The AWS FTR assesses an AWS Partner’s service offering against a specific set of best practices most critical for customer success.

Telos Alliance is working with AWS to offer TV and radio professionals a new way to connect, collaborate, and contribute audio to broadcast production workflows using a virtualized environment. Since Infinity VIP is deployed as a software container, it presents clients with a wider range of options than traditional matrix-based broadcast intercom systems, extending the reach of the intercom beyond the boundaries of the physical plant.  Infinity VIP naturally integrates with hardware-based Telos Infinity® IP Intercom systems, as well as third-party intercom or audio subsystems, while enabling more natural collaboration with remote production teams, on-site producers, work-from-home contributors, and field journalists.

Telos Alliance Chief Technical Officer Greg Shay notes: “We’re excited to keep working closely with AWS, continually testing and refining our solutions to ensure they perform smoothly on AWS. As the cloud landscape grows, we’re dedicated to helping our customers navigate virtualization using our hardware, software, or combined solutions. Our work with AWS remains instrumental in expanding our customer reach.”
