Sony’s strategic alliances will drive innovation and leadership across the industry and will be a key focus for the business at ISE 2024

ISE Barcelona, Spain, 30th January 2024 – Sony has announced the addition of 26 new members and industry leaders to its AV Alliance and Technology Partner Network. This continued expansion adds to an already existing portfolio of over 40 organisations from across Europe and other parts of the world. Sony’s AV Alliance Partner Network is powered by strategic alliances across the industry, offering compatible software and hardware solutions that deliver enhanced value, compatibility and creative freedom to its lineup of BRAVIA Professional Displays.

Throughout 2023, Sony has forged strong alliances with leading organisations across three areas that are seeing rapid growth in demand for intuitive solutions: Content Management, Remote Management and Unified Communications. With a strengthened global network, Sony and its partners can deliver simplified integration with lower operational costs for organisations across the corporate, education, healthcare and retail industries. Beyond this, Sony will also work closely with its partners to propel the adoption of sustainability initiatives in the AV sector.

Sony’s System-on-Chip (SoC) technology means that partners can quickly and easily integrate their own software to run any digital signage application on a range of BRAVIA Professional Displays, eliminating the need to purchase an additional external device. In line with Sony’s mission to accelerate its sustainability initiatives, the built-in SoC also significantly reduces power consumption, providing an added benefit for partners and end-users.

“The continued growth of our partner network reflects our commitment to fostering collaboration, driving innovation, and delivering better value to our end customers. By working closely with a range of organisations, we are well-positioned to strengthen our presence in the professional AV market and continue providing cutting-edge products and solutions.” Comments Thorsten Prsybyl, Senior B2B Partnership Manager, Sony Professional Displays and Solutions. “Sony is committed to growing its share in the digital signage market. This is reflected in our increasing number of partners in this area and will continue to be a core focus for us moving forward. With our robust and growing partnership ecosystem across this market, we’re able to continue to address the rapidly evolving needs of the industry.”

“Our partner network is not only important for delivering the highest quality solutions to more end users but is also key in our mission towards a more sustainable AV industry. It’s important to us that our partners share our mission on advancing environmental and social initiatives, as Sony is accelerating its progress on this, starting with the materials we choose at product creation through to delivery and packaging. We believe that a strong, united front with organisations across the AV industry is what will drive the wider adoption and prioritisation of sustainability initiatives,” comments Rik Willemse, Head of Professional Displays & Solutions at Sony, “We’ll be working closely together to pool our resources, knowledge and expertise in order to amplify the importance of environmental responsibility industry-wide.”

Sony will continue the momentum it has gained in 2023 as it moves forward with its expanded AV technology partner alliance. Its growing partner ecosystem will be displayed on Sony’s booth at ISE 2024 and will demonstrate the enhanced capabilities of its solutions on show, including BRAVIA 4K Professional DisplaysTEOS workplace management ecosystem, Sony Crystal LED BH series, as well as advanced projection displays and new software for hybrid learning environments.
