Lightware Visual Engineering, a leading manufacturer of connectivity solutions for the professional integrated systems market and a pioneer in signal management, has today shared an update on the groundbreaking immersive experiences using its solutions worldwide. From the Lightroom Exhibition in London, UK and 360-degree projection installation at Gwalior Fort in India to the immersive Mirror Mirror Art Experience in Adelaide, South Australia, the live event and rental/staging markets rely on Lightware to deliver the ultimate live experiences.

This includes the award-winning Lightware UBEX, an unrivalled AV-over-IP device that delivers pixel-accurate 4K60 video in real-time, with ultra-low latency and Dolby Atmos capabilities to deliver the ultimate immersive experiences. In addition, Lightware’s MX2 standalone matrix switchers offer uncompromising 4K60 signal management through HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2 connectivity.

Recent immersive project highlights include:

  • Lightroom Exhibition – Lightroom recently opened as a new home for artist-led shows in London. Created by Blue I Theatre Technology, which delivers spectacular live events, its spacious interior presents an uninterrupted canvas, providing a stunning 360-degree experience

  • Mirror Mirror Art Experience  – Mirror Mirror, an immersive art experience in Adelaide, South Australia, used Lightware’s UBEX AV-over-IP solution to transport signals from the central control room to six various zones. With Illuminate Adelaide, South Australia’s winter turns into a season to bring leading local and global digital artists to Adelaide using technology to activate city-wide interactive immersive experiences. For Mirror Mirror, a custom pavilion, 18m x 65m x 9m, was erected in the centre of the CBD in Victoria Square to create a custom home for the activation

  • Gwalior Fort, India – Revamped its Sound and Light Show with Lightware’s Technology to create an immersive 360-degree projection installation. The installation features a vast canvas stretching upon the walls of the Man Mandir imposing palace, each 800 meters wide, across the front yard and even over a tree between the palace walls, which is strategically included in the imagery. Visuals are synchronised with the narration and laser lights to give an impression of history speaking to the audience

  • Video Mapping across the Danube River – This day commemorates the foundation of the Hungarian State and is celebrated annually on August 20th. Festivities in Budapest mark the occasion with a special showcase, and for the latest event, organisers employed Lightware technology to manage AV signal routing and transmission, covering a span of 4.8 km, including a stretch across the Danube River

  • Epson at ISE 2024 – For the ISE 2024 exhibition, the world’s leading AV and systems integration show, Epson installed Lightware’s technology to create a 3D-mapped umbrella feature at its booth, showcasing the key role signal management plays in creating dynamic visual displays
